Winter is coming!

I have not posted anything on this blog in a really long time. I have been rather busy and have not had internet at my house for like the past month or something. It sucks but I watch lots of movies and play lots of video games now.

My college class has been going very well. I only have three people that are able to correct my papers at the level I need them to be but I am hoping to fix that situation sometime soon.

Other then that I now think there is a mouse in my house. So I will probably be setting some traps later :P This is not what I meant when I said that I wanted to go trapping.

I am in a musical rut -__- so I've decided to take a break from guitar for awhile.

I don't think theres much else going on :P But I'm usually wrong and forget to write something down, oh well haha

First concert

Hello everyone! I know I haven't blogged in forever.

But tonight, I went to my first concert. It was pretty awesome. It was my favorite band. Linkin Park and Incubus :D

I came home and my head hurts, ears are ringing but I sure had fun :D and I'm like super tired so I'm gonna go lay down or something :P

Summer

I have been very busy this summer :D Been out fishing. Working, making money. Learning my job. Its been very fun. But fishing has been kinda lousy. Scratching by on the fishing. But my dad said once "I guess thats why you call it fishing". 

Other then that, my guitar practice has been going pretty ok. I practice when I can in between hauls. 

If you guys are wondering about what kind of fishing I do and how I do it, there is a video down below that will explain it. 

I've been trying to learn how to run the skiff for my dad. Also in the video, I don't work on that boat. 

Thats my dads boat :)

Anyways, I think that will be it for now. I might post when I have time. Or I might not if I forget :P

Steampunk

Ok, ever since I started listening to Abney Park, I've gotten more into Steampunk. To the point of where I want to make my own outfit. I'm not a fan of dresses but I've decided to make myself look like an "Airship Pilot".

I'm thinking of all these ideas and what I could buy and other things that I would have to make myself. :P

Other then that, guitar has been going awesome. I'm really happy with it.

I've been having such a good time down in Washington. But I'm ready to go home, go fishing. Make some moneys. I am going to miss the fast internet though haha.

Hey peoples! Whats up?

Well I'm not going home as soon as I expected. I don't mind. More time with the fam and two extra guitar lessons.

Guitar has been going good. Or well for all the people who winced at my bad grammar. I have been trying to cram a month and a half of work and practice into two weeks. It hard and I don't get much time to practice. I still think its going well. OH you know what? In the music center I was in waiting for my guitar teacher to show up, I saw a book of sheet music and tabs for Legend of Zelda songs! Haha I nearly died! It was awesome.

Anyways......hmm I need to think of better things to put on my blog :/ maybe I'd get more views and what not.

But other then all of that, I have nothing else :/ so I'll talk to you guys in the future.

Once I get home, I'm gonna be pretty busy I think. Boat work and guitar practice and what not. So yea

New Music

Today was a big shopping day :P we went to get some new clothes. Then we went and tried finding a beading shop, we couldn't find one so we'll go some other day. Then we got to go to Best Buy! I love Best Buy. I have a hard time finding CDs any where else besides the internet.

Well most of the reason that I went to Best Buy was that my guitar teacher told me of some CDs that I should get because of the influence they had on a lot of the bands I like. I got some CDs from Pantera, Metallica, Foo Fighters, Nirvana, Black Sabbath, Led Zeppelin, and then some of the CDs that I wanted.

I discovered a new band. Their called Abney Park. I like them but I have to order the CDs off amazon.

That song is one of the new songs off their new album which is going to come out next month. 

One of my friends was asking me to share his Youtube vids and channel. He likes to play guitar so yea.

Guitars

On Monday I started my guitar lessons. I've only had two lessons but my fingers are sore :P Its been going really well. I have a cool teacher and my mom bought me an awesome acoustic guitar

My guitar :D Its pretty awesome, my mom also got me a tour case. 

Other then that, I went to a book store today, I love book stores :) got to buy a few books. We also went to a leather store today. Bought a section of leather and two rabbit furs. I was going to make little coin purses with it. 

Well I think thats it for now, hopefully I can go to a bestbuy sometime soon. Summer is going to be awesome

Seattle!

I am in Tacoma, Washington. School over with and summer has come. Well sort of. Theres still lots of snow in Chignik :/

Well on Monday I start my guitar lessons :P Gonna go over to a music store at 2PM to meet my teacher and buy a guitar. Then I'll have a half an hour lesson. Then I get to go home and PRACTICE PRACTICE PRACTICE! Its gonna be awesome!

Well other then that, I'm gonna be doing lots of other cool stuff too. Like shopping for music and books! And video games :P

Well not sure what else to say, I'll update you guys every so often and maybe upload a vid of me practicing :P

This last week has been amazing :) we had a lady come to our village and teach us about our culture. Song and dance, projects such as skin sewing(using fur and hide), and carving. We learned 12 song and dances this week. We also did a sewing project which was making pouches out of sea otter. I made one. I also carved a kayak out of cotton weed. Once I was done with that, I was able to start another pouch which I completed today. I'm not sure what I'm going to do with it. I might try and sell it. I also might just give it to someone as a gift. :) Not sure yet.

Other then that, I am SUPER excited for summer! Get to go down to washington and see my family and get guitar lessons. :) I just can't wait to get out of school. I will seriously run out those doors and race home :D

These weeks

Last week, I went to our AA meet/prom. I explained it in the lastest school blog post. I had lots of fun. I got to go to prom with my best friend. Once my professional prom pictures get in, I'll post them.

Lately, I've been working on becoming a ETT again. I'm taking an online class. Once everyone is done with the online portion, in the fall, our instructor is going to come down and do the hands on portion with us.

I've started looking at scholarships for college :P Well I was planning on saying more but I can't think of anything :P

Thinking.....

Did I ever tell you guys about my goal in NYO? I may have but if not, then this year, I want to make it to State NYO for the wrist carry. I was about 20 feet away from it last year. I kept telling myself that I was gonna make it this year. I have one little problem. I started training, usually did some pull ups everyday and sometimes other things like push ups. But then I stopped, for a really long time. Now, I'm kicking myself in the pants because I'm starting to doubt if I will be able to make it :/ But I'm going to try my hardest. I atleast want to make it to state, I don't even have to place in state, I just wanna make it.

So I'm going to work until I can't work anymore because I'm going to keep a positive mind set about it!

Guitars

Isn't it funny how you do one thing which leads to a few other things and finally you get something you've always wanted? Well a couple days ago, that happened to me. I posted a status on FB about wanting to learn to play the guitar and not having anyone to teach me since I live in a little tiny village. Well my aunt in Washington saw this and when she was talking to my mom, she said that she should try and find me guitar lessons for when I went down. I'm getting really excited and lately I have been looking through guitar buying guides. :)

Other then that, I am working on my last paper that I need to finish my level. Its going to be a fiction paper but I am having a hard time thinking of ideas. I will get there eventually.

Speaking of papers, I actually haven't worked on my book in a very long time. I just haven't had any idea for it. Nothing. So i haven't even looked at it. I figured that one day, my writers block will go away.

I personally can't wait for prom! I think it'd going to be a lot of fun. My mom bought me a beautiful dress and when we went up into Anchorage, we got it fitted. The AA Meet/Prom will be the 9th-13th of April.

Well thats about it for now. :)

Beautiful Things

My friend told me of this really good song. Its called "Beautiful Things" by a band called Gungor. Its actually really good.

Well other then that, I decided to create a bucket list. Yea, I know its cheesy and weird. But they say it really helps give you a perspective on your life. You know what I mean? Yes? No? Ok well if you don't, I'm sorry. Lately I have been confused so I think I need to do something that will help clear everything up.

Sometimes I wish I didn't live in a village. It makes everything so complicated sometimes. But I have gotten to experience things that are awesome. Like fishing, shooting, driving heavy equipment and lots of other things. I like living in a village.

Juneau

All last week I was at Juneau for the Alaska Close Up. I learned a lot about our system of government and I got to meet a lot of new people. I also got sick -__-

Close Up was lots of fun. I learned A LOT about government. We learned about bills, senators, representatives, and what everyone does. Me and my friend, Erin, got to meet our representative and our senator and we showed them a project about a community problem. Ours was about all the old heavy equipment in our village that can't be used anymore. Both of our representative and senator told us that it was more of a local project and to talk to our village council.

It was a lot of fun, I made some new friends too. There was only 20 kids there and there was supposed to be about 40. I personally liked the smaller group better. Next year I am going to try to be an intern there.

I sadly do not get to play basketball :( My parents didn't want me traveling because I have already been gone a week and I'm sick. I do want to go but I can't. They have also combined the jamboree and districts so I do not get to play basketball at all this year. -__- I hate travel sometimes.

But this weekend, I get to go up to King Salmon and learn how to weld. So I'm excited about that. But from there, I travel straight to anchorage for spring break. We get to be there for the Fur Rondy. I've never been there before but my mom says its fun and there are a lot of things to do.

Well not much else has happened so yea :-/

Title-less book and music

I've noticed I start a lot of my posts with "Ok" and I was just about to do it to this one :-/ I usually can't think of anything else.

But, first off my book. I wouldn't say that its going great but its not going bad either. I have about 17,000 words at the moment. Sometimes I don't know what to write so I just don't because I don't want it to be boring. I found some websites with some helpful tips so I am going to post that on a secret FB group of writers ;)

Music, I found this new band called Thousand Foot Krutch. They are pretty awesome. I find them to be a toned down Escape the Fate mixed with AFI. But they are good so I would recommend looking them up. 

I was suppose to leave today for our Basketball jamboree but travel is cancelled until tomorrow. :/ But I still can't wait. After the jamboree, I get to go to Juneau for the Alaska CloseUp. Its gonna be awesome, there are going to be like 60 other kids there from around the state. Lots of work though and I don't have very much time. But I will take lots of pictures and post them if I can.

I am going to work on my stuff some more so bye :)

Ok so at the moment, my face is freezing. I'll tell you why.

Me and my mother had to go down under our house to plug in some heat tapes so our pipes wouldn't freeze. There was a tremendous amount of ice around this one pipe.We were looking all around and this light bulb didn't work so I went to go get another one. Guess what? She locked the door so I had to go out and try to get some keys from my dad house. His door was locked so my dad called one of his friends to help us. My dads in Anchorage. We were standing around and waiting so I looked around and grabbed a wrench and started hitting the ice. There was like 7 inches of ice. I got quite far before my dads friend came over and helped us. He went and got the keys and I kept working at the ice. He got the keys so my mom went into the house and I stayed to help. He hit the ice for awhile with a hammer and we stopped it dripping. So he said he would bring a space heater over tomorrow and thaw it all out. So we all went home........

BUT THEN! My dad called and said that his friend was coming over again and we had to get heat tape cords out of the nearly SEVEN inches of ice. It took quite awhile. But after taking turning of shipping away with a hammer and a chisel, we finally got it.

I bet tomorrow, my arms, my chest and my joints are gonna hurt because we were hitting that ice pretty hard. But I would rather deal with that kind of stress then emotional. I can shovel snow for a couple hours and be fine but I hate emotional stress. Well that's my story for today.

It's awesome when.......

Ok so I was just thinking about this morning and when I was putting on my shirt, I looked at my arms and flexed and thought "I got a nice piece of muscle right there". I thought it was pretty awesome. But I hate when I go through the air port and the two guns on my shoulders get me in trouble :D You see what I did there? If not then I really hate when I walk through a metal detector and my abs of steel set it off.

So yea, I thought all of that was pretty awesome. Well on Friday in b-ball practice, we did lunges and leg throws and Saturday and Sunday, I was super sore. It really hurt a lot. But today, I'm not sore so thankfully practice won't kill me.

Last night, I played The Legend of Zelda: Skyward Sword for a little over four hours. I actually got pretty far in it. Its awesome.

I've noticed I say a lot of random things on my blog :-/ Hmm well I don't think thats going to change anytime soon haha. Ok well that is it for now :D

B-ball practice and terrorists

Ok, so we have finally started basketball practice at my school. You know how that people say that when you work hard, you should sleep well at night? It's never really been like that for me. I was the only one at practice yesterday and there was a lot of running. I also didn't sleep very well last night.

But anyways, I've been having odd dreams lately. Like I had a dream last night about playing a video game that I was thinking about playing but haven't in awhile. I did have some other dreams but I don't remember them.

Anyways, lately I've been wanting to get some throwing knifes and I've found some nice ones on Amazon but since I spent all my money, I'm gonna have to wait and I don't even think my mom would let me get them. Maybe one day. Haha

Did you see that Wikipedia blacked out for 24 hours yesterday? That kinda sucked because when I was trying to look up stuff, it wouldn't let me but I see the point they are getting at. Websites like Wikipedia and Reddit wouldn't exist. We wouldn't have search engines because they wouldn't be allowed to link websites. The NDAA for 2012, would allow the government to detain someone under the suspicion that they are a terrorist. I would like someone to tell me the definition of "terrorist". It is a very loose term. I heard that it was someone who committed acts of terror against this country. But wouldn't the people putting this in place, be terrorists then? It scares me, it scares my teacher. You confused? So am I

A book that this all reminded me of was a battle book called Little Brother by Cory Doctorow. Its a pretty good book, I know I've talked about it before but i thought it would be a good time to bring it up again. Its one of my favorite books now. It was really good and yea.

I am personally scared for our country. But for the people not living in this country but reading my blog, our country can be great, its just that people........well there are lots of people with lots of money and they want power, so yea.

Well I think I am going to work on my book some more and work on school work.

RAWR!!!!

No, I did not just say that I loved in you in dino language, I said RAWR!!!! So there.

But other then that, you know how when you put on a full suit of something big, some where that you normally have a hard time scratching, starts to itch. Like with my new PURPLE Carhartts (Yes they come in other colors besides black and brown), It seems like every time I have to be in them for a few hours, my back starts to itch and I can't get to it. Its really annoying.

You know what I did yesterday? I took and shot my new bow for the first time? Did I hit my target? Yes, once. But the thing is that I lost two of my arrows and so my project for today is to go and to find them. I should be able to but if not, then I will be very sad. I think I will get the help of my funcle cause I really don't want to lose any more arrows.

Ok, you guys remember how I started a book? Well I havn't told you guys about it in awhile and I thought I would. At the moment, I have 15,624 words. That will soon change because I like to work on it but thats how many I have. I sent it to one of my best friends and he said he would look over it sometime and tell me what he thought. Best friends are awesome.

You know, to tell you the truth, I am getting a little tired of school.  Sometimes its just really boring. Sure I have the motivation to do things like write papers and try to work on my math when I'm there but sometimes I just wish I could sit in a little quite room and do alone. I get a lot done when I can but I dont know. I take what I can get which is a very noisy room most of the day :-/ But other then that, I am going to take my ACT in February, so next month. I'm not sure how I will do, I really hope I get a good score because that means I wouldn't have to take it again. (sigh)

I think I am going to put different pages in my blog like a contact me page and stuff like that because I think its a good idea and I might even get more emails, haha. One of my friends has pages like that and I think its pretty cool. So once I figure out how to do that, I will probably put up my email addresses and see if anyone wants to talk to me or something haha. Meeting new people is always fun if they're not like a creeper stalker.

Well I think I'm done ranting to you people for today, I'm not sure why you choose to listen to it and follow my blog but I am happy that you do :) So until I feel the need to rant again, I will be doing whatever I need to do and stuff like that

School

Ok well school is getting ready to start here. Bleh I know. But I did get my target in and now I just need to find a place to put it and by the time I go to the AA meet/prom, I will be really good. :D I really hope one day I could go hunting with a bow or maybe even bow fishing.

Well I've been thinking a lot about NYO this year. I will tell you right now, I will make it to state for the wrist carry. I'm not sure who will be my carriers but I will figure that out. Some of you might not know what that is and I am too lazy to explain so if you search on Google, you could probably find a set of instructions on the different NYO challenges.

(Sigh) Life sometimes. Ya know? I won't get into details but sometimes its really annoying. Well not life but the people in it.

(Sigh) Something I really hate about living in a village is that there are almost no ways that I could make money.  Sure, I can fish in the summer but I don't get to touch any of that money. It goes into savings. Yes, I know, its a good thing but I would like something to spend!

I did not get a PS3 for Christmas. I didn't mind, but I still would like to get one. But I am about 40 bucks short.  and guess what? I can't make any money! I'm gonna try and sell stuff on amazon but its super complicated and I still have to pay for shipping and what not. I'm not sure what to do -__- but I'll figure it out sometime.

Well my funcle adjusted my compound bow for me. My mom ordered me a target which SHOULD be here in a week or two. But who knows? I have learned to wait a long time for mail until getting worried bout it. So yea. Me and my funcle are both pretty excited for my target, I think he is because he dont got one :D So yea.

Well....idk what else to say so I wont!
